Chevrolet SS (2013 – 2017)
Do you wish the Impala was a bit more exciting to drive? Chevy has the answer for you! Or rather, it did. The SS is a rear-drive, livelier alternative to the objectively more sedate Impala. Borrowed from GM’s Australian subsidiary, Holden, the SS is a rebadged version of the venerable Commodore. Powered by a 415 horsepower, 6.2-liter V8, the SS is a riot to drive compared to Chevy’s front-drive sedans. However, the public never seemed to get the memo, as sales have never eclipsed ~3,000 units per year. It’s a shame, because the SS is a terrific car for those who want a Camaro with a bit more practicality.
