So Long, Farewell: 2017’s Discontinued Cars

Jeep Patriot (2007 – 2017)

The Patriot has served its country well for the past decade, racking up respectable sales as Jeep’s entry-level model. While it’s boxy styling is charmingly reminiscent of classic Jeeps, it hasn’t aged all too well. In its ten years, the Patriot has carried on with only minor updates. To that end, it doesn’t offer many of the features that buyers now expect. Its old-school looks may be appealing to some, but FCA has decided to ax this model in favor of the redesigned Compass. Nonetheless, its mission to introduce hundreds of thousands to the Jeep lifestyle warrant the Patriot an honorable discharge.
