Compact sedans are doing better than their bigger relatives – Mid-size April 2015 sales. The 2015 Toyota Corolla continues to dominate the compact segment in the United States. Its main competitors struggled. The Honda Civic had a relatively good month with a 2.8% improvement, but the Chevy Cruze and Ford Focus declined when compared to last year.
The Hyundai Elantra had a successful month and jumped into third place.
The Dodge Dart showed the best improvement at 42.0% for the month and 52.0% year-to-date (YTD).
The Nissan Sentra, Mazda3 and Mitsubishi Lancer all grew significantly.
