Nathan, Andre and Roman are all set to reveal the TFLcar top five new car debuts from the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS 2015). According to the guys, this was one of the best auto shows in recent memory, if not ever, for the sheer number and magnitude of debuts.
Watch the guys debate and decide the top five (or maybe more!) new car debuts from the 2015 Detroit Auto Show below:
Ford stole the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, releasing the beautiful new GT concept, race-ready Shelby GT350R and 2017 Raptor truck. Not simply concepts or show cars, all three of these vehicles are said to make it into production either this year or next. Interestingly, Ford is touting the flexibility of their EcoBoost V-6 engine lineup, making it standard equipment on both the GT and the Raptor.
The new Acura NSX was a projected show stopper, offering a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine paired to a trio of electric motors and a special version of SH-AWD. Leave it to Honda/Acura to develop a supercar that is not only sexy and fast, but also economical and practical.
General Motors brought a sledgehammer, the all-new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V. Capable of a staggering 200 MPH top speed, the new CTS-V is a menacing, track-destroying, family-friendly monster. Its host of new safety and drivability features ensure an easy-to-drive demeanor and positive experience for both driver and passengers.
Mercedes is re-defining the premium compact crossover market with its GLE “Coupe” lineup, including the GLE 450 AMG and GLE63 AMG. Providing performance, utility, and all-weather capability, both new baby Benz CUVs will surely be stalwarts in the North American market.
