Kia has teased us enough about the next-generation 2016 Kia Sorento. Now, we know what it will look like on the outside. The new crossover is 3.7 inches longer and rides on a three inch longer wheel-base. This should make for a roomier interior and more comfortable three-row seating.
The new Sorento is wearing an “Eco Dynamics” badge on the rear hatch. All of the details are not revealed yet, so it’s not clear what fuel saving technologies the badge refers to, however, it’s likely that the smooth 3.3L V6 will return for duty with at least the 290 horsepower of the current model.
It will be formally unveiled in Korea later this month, ahead of its global introduction at the 2014 Paris Auto Show.
Compare these official images with the Sorento spy shots we recently got from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
