The 2019 Audi Q8 Starts At $67,400 – Top Models Can Easily Pass $80,000 [News]

Audi has brought a new flagship crossover to their lineup with the 2019 Audi Q8. The German manufacturer just released more information about the Q8, including prices, engine specs, standard features, and more. As Audi’s latest range-topper gets ready to hit showrooms, it also packs a price tag above and beyond any of the company’s standard crossovers.

Pricing

The most expensive trim of the Audi Q7, the Prestige, starts at $65,400. The 2019 Audi Q8, on the other hand, starts where the Q7’s prices stop. The Q8 Premium starts at $67,400 and, just continues upward from there. The Premium Plus starts at $71,400 and the top-spec Prestige starts at $76,550. When you add options, you could end up spending well over $80,000 for Audi’s flagship crossover model.

Powertrain

Regardless of which trim you choose, the 2019 Audi Q8 hoses a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine. Borrowed from the Q7, the powerplant makes 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. As is becoming the norm these days, the 2019 Audi Q8 also packs a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Audi claims the 2019 Audi Q8 hits 0-60 in 5.6 seconds.

Design

The 2019 Audi Q8 sports a fresh design befitting its flagship status. Its new grille design and front fascia serve as a marker for future Audi crossovers. Around the back, new LED lights and a sloping roof design give the 2019 Audi Q8 a bolder stance over its Q7 stablemate.

The octagonal grille is complimented by standard LED headlights. 20-inch alloy wheels is standard fare. Although, 21 and 22-inch rims are available if the standard wheels are too small for your liking.

Technology

The 2019 Audi Q8 also exhibits everything the company can offer in technology, as well as design. To that end, they’ve packed the car with features from their latest sedans, including the 2019 Audi A7 and A8.

Audi’s new MMI touch response system features a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen display, plus an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen. The upper display is used to control media and navigation, while the lower display is used to control climate and passenger comfort features.

And you can’t forget about virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster that has a number of different view options.

The 2019 Audi Q8 is available with a wide range of driver assistance features. Those include adaptive cruise control, forward collision detection and a 360-degree camera, among other active safety systems.
