2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV takes Electricity to DC [Video Review]

The 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is an all electric vehicle that’s easy to drive especially in a crowded city like Washington DC. It’s got four doors and capacity to carry four people and their stuff. Watch the video to find out the “laundry basket” rating for this electric mobile. The i-MiEV also comes in four exterior colors, including this Aqua Marine Blue.

The electric motor produces 66 hp and 145 of instant lb-ft of torque. It’s curb weight is 2,579 pounds and it’s government rated at a combined 112 MPGe or a combined driving range of 62 miles on a full charge.  Mitsubishi says that slower city traffic driving may yield a maximum range of 98 miles. A 240V / 15A charger will take around six hours to fully replenish the batteries.

It starts at $22,995 and this is before the $7,500 federal tax credit for all-electric vehicles.
