This may appear as a regular Chevy Suburban, but the wheels look peculiar. The wheel design is the same as on the 2015 Silverado 2500 HD with the small hub cabs to conceal the wheel bolts. Can this be the 2016 Chevy Suburban 2500 HD?
This Suburban was caught in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado along with several other GM prototype vehicles. The vehicles has no other HD distinguishing features. The exterior mirrors are standard Suburban affair, and the exhaust system points to the gasoline motor.
The HD versions of the Suburban have always been welcome edition for fleet customers and individuals who have demands for extra-heavy towing. This version of the Suburban may use the same 6.0L V8 engine currently available in the Silverado HD line. It’s possible that the engine will see a performance enhancement. The 6.2L V8 can also be the candidate for duty in the Suburban HD.
