This generation of Toyota Land Cruiser has built up some intense discussion…is this a step in the right direction or not?
For decades, the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser built up a reputation as a dependable and capable large SUV. From its sheer stature to its straight-six and later V8 power, the automaker’s flagship SUV was known for running hundreds of thousands of miles in some of the most inhospitable terrain without breaking. This new 250 Series, however, changed up a decades-old formula to give North America a luxury-minded, midsize, four-cylinder hybrid SUV instead of the huge, V8 rig we all know and love.
Four-cylinder? Turbo!? HYBRID!!?? “Blasphemy!” Or so some folks say.
