In this week’s Ask Nathan:

  • Concours at Wynn Las Vegas and
  • 2026 SEMA coverage!

The first question comes from a fan who wants to know where the best car show that isn’t at Pebble Beach for expensive and exclusive vehicles?

Q (Via Facebook): RE: What’s the best car show that isn’t Pebble Beach? (Pssst… is it the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas?)

Final question this week, ha ha! What’s the best car show that isn’t at Pebble Beach for expensive and exclusive vehicles?

I know you’re going to Vegas for SEMA but are you going to the Wynn?

– Sherman

A: Hello again Sherman! I would put the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas high on your list.

’ll be covering this year’s event, and fortunately, you don’t need a seven-figure garage to appreciate what’s on display.

The fifth annual Concours weekend runs October 29–November 1, 2026, with the main exhibition taking place Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wynn Golf Club. Expect hundreds of automobiles, with 12 judged classes and two specialty classes. Announced participants include Pagani, Aston Martin, Hennessey, Singer, and Czinger. A GT1 specialty display celebrates the wonderfully excessive endurance-racing machinery of the 1990s.

In other words, bring comfortable shoes and enough phone storage to photograph things most of us can’t afford.

What’s happening?

Friday, October 30, includes a Welcome Reception at Intrigue from 6–8 p.m. and Night Shift GT from 7–10 p.m. The latter brings supercars and hypercars to the fourth-floor rooftop of Wynn’s parking garage, complete with Strip views, DJ entertainment, and a hosted bar.

Saturday’s concours is the main attraction. Broad Arrow also holds its collector-car auction at 2:30 p.m. in Wynn’s Latour Ballroom, with an 86-car catalog.

Sunday, November 1, wraps things up with the Tour d’Elegance, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Participating automobiles parade along the Strip, giving spectators a chance to see these machines moving under their own power. That’s preferable to seeing them exclusively through somebody’s investment portfolio.

What do tickets cost?

Published prices, before fees, are:

  • General Admission: $145.
  • Sip and Savor, including exhibition admission and designated hosted drinks: $280.
  • Chairman’s VIP, including chef’s stations and an open bar: $795.
  • Night Shift GT: $95.
  • Welcome Reception Dinner: $315.

Here’s the catch: as of October 29, the official website lists all these options as sold out. Check LasVegasConcours.com for changes before booking a trip.

There are still public viewing opportunities. Broad Arrow lists free auction previews Friday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Auction attendance itself requires separate credentials or bidder registration. Sunday’s procession can also be watched from publicly accessible areas along its route.

The “best?”

“Best” depends on your taste, but Wynn makes a compelling case if you enjoy expensive, exclusive machinery across several eras. I’ll be there investigating the cars and their stories while keeping my belt buckle a financially responsible distance from the paint.

The last question comes from a fan who wants to know if we’re covering SEMA. Oh boy are we!

Q (Via Facebook): RE: 2026 SEMA Coverage?

Any of you guys heading to SEMA this year?

– AP66

A: Oh yes we are!

It looks like Roman, Tommy, Andre, and I will all be at the 2026 SEMA Show, covering a variety of vehicles, builds, and events throughout the show floor. That’s a sizable chunk of the TFL Studios crew, with plenty of the old guard represented. Put us together in a building full of outrageous trucks, questionable modifications, and shiny things we probably shouldn’t buy, and there should be no shortage of entertainment.

I’m excited to have my buddies alongside me so we can pool our knowledge, divide up the coverage, and occasionally talk one another out of terrible ideas. They can also pool their resources to bail me out, just in case. Whether that means rescuing me from a technical explanation I’ve wandered into or something requiring an actual phone call remains to be seen.

With the four of us roaming SEMA, we’ll be able to cover much more ground and bring you different perspectives on what’s worth seeing. Expect plenty of videos, interesting discoveries, and the usual friendly disagreements. Stay tuned. We’re going to have a lot to show you!
