This is the final year of V8 Dodge Durango models, including the SRT 392 and Hellcat.
Hope you haven’t put that handkerchief away from mourning the loss of Dodge’s Charger and Challenger models. The ‘Last Call’ continues for 2024, this time signaling the end of V8 production for the Dodge Durango SUV, including the insane Hellcat. We’ll see variations of both the SRT 392 and the Hellcat over the coming months, with this AlcHEMI being the first special edition Dodge announced Wednesday.
In essence, the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI adds some special visual pieces over your everyday version. Under the hood, you still get the same 475-horsepower, 6.4-liter V8. However, this Last Call model adds some pizzazz by way of Brembo brakes with yellow calipers, blacked-out badging and exhaust tips and honeycomb textured dual stripes with yellow borders.
Inside, the AlcHEMI continues the yellow and black theme with carbon fiber accents and “392” logos embroidered on the seatbacks. You also get a leather and suede steering wheel with a white LED SRT logo.
Dodge only plans to produce 1,000 examples of the AlcHEMI, with 250 units in each of the four available exterior colors including Diamond Black, Destroyer Gray, Vapor Gray and White Knuckle. If you’re gunning to pick one up, you’ll have to track down an allocation through Dodge’s Horsepower Locator website.
The 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI is a $3,595 premium on the standard 392 model. Factoring that added chunk of change, the baseline price comes out to $91,390. Production for this first Last Call model will start in April, with the first units set to hit dealerships around May.
