Jeep Debuts New Wrangler, Gladiator Three O Five Edition Models In Miami

305 total Three O Five editions will be produced.

The Miami Auto Show just opened in bright and sunny Florida, and Jeep brought along two special edition models aimed at local customers: the Wrangler and Gladiator “Three O Five” editions. If you happen to live in the Magic City or you’ve ever heard a Pitbull song, then you know what that 305 stands for (it’s the city’s area code).

Local Miami dealers get a total allotment of 305 of these special edition models. Of those, the Gladiator will be much more exclusive, as only 50 of those are available, to 255 Wranglers. Each are based on the Sport S trims, and package together some unique options from their standard counterparts.

Both the Gladiator and Wrangler Three O Five models are available in two colors: either Bright White or Punk’n Orange Metallic. Jeep has not announced pricing and availability yet.

Jeep Wrangler Three O Five Edition

The Wrangler gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, putting out 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. As with standard models, you still get an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Three O Five edition adds the $695 Sport LED headlight group, as well as the Sky One-touch power top — a unique feature to the Sport S model — and the Jeep Performance parts grille. The Technology Group, normally a $995 option, also comes with this special edition, adding a 7.0-inch Uconnect4 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. A unique “Three O Five” decal package, all-weather floor mats and black fuel filler door round out the package.

Jeep Gladiator Three O Five Edition

The Gladiator gets much the same treatment as the Wrangler, except for the 2.0-liter engine. Instead, in keeping with the standard Gladiator models, you get the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Again, the Three O Five is based on the Sport S, and gets body-color fender flares and all-terrain tires.

Naturally, if either the Wrangler or Gladiator Three O Five aren’t enough out of the box, the Jeep Performance Parts catalog adds more dealer-installed options. From a 2-inch lift to LED lights, 17-inch aluminum wheels, a steel front bumper and more, the cars on display in Miami show what is possible with both vehicles.
