Today, we have the latest episode of our new game show: “Is It Faster Than a Ford Fiesta…ST?”. Normally, we pitch a family car against our long-term hot hatch, but today is a bit different. Rather than pitching a sedan, a wagon, or even the benchmark hot hatch against our Fiesta, we have something you may not expect. It’s another Fiesta ST! However, this is a Fiesta ST with a difference. The latest contender against TFL’s stock hot hatch is a tuned version. Featuring an ECU reflash, performance air intake and catback exhaust, the challenger packs more power. 16-inch Sparco wheels and sticky rubber makes the tuned Fiesta a grippy pocket rocket around the track. At least, that’s true on paper.

As Roman and Mike take to the track, this showdown is all about the driver. Can Roman throw down in the stock Fiesta ST, or will the higher power output in the tuned version prevail? In stock form, TFL’s 2017 Ford Fiesta ST makes 197 horsepower and 202 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged, 1.6-liter engine. The hot Fiesta gears its power to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

In today’s game show, both Fiestas square off in a classic drag race. After that, it comes down to the totally not rigged “Wheel of Destiny” to decide the next challenge! What will it be? Check out the video above to find out!
