Ford is redesigning its Edge crossover for the 2019 model year, making it, ahem, “edgier”. As is the way with redesigns, the 2019 Edge carries a new face and revised rear end. However, what really makes this new model edgier is Ford’s addition of the ST nameplate. First seen on the Focus ST hot hatchback, you’ll be able to get all that turbocharged goodness in a crossover. It will house a similar engine to the F-150 and Fusion Sport – a 2.7-liter EcoBoost unit. That will make the Edge ST good for 335 horsepower and a mighty 380 lb-ft of torque, sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
