Caught on camera, wrapped bumper to bumper, is possibly the all-new Hyundai Elantra. The redesigned 2017 Hyundai Elantra is expected to debut in the next few months and is probably undergoing its real-world testing at high altitude. Can anyone confirm that this is or is not the 2017 Elantra?
We do know the 2017 Hyundai Elantra will ride on a revised platform, with new powertrains and a completely overhauled interior. The new compact sedan may offer the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and dual-clutch transmission from the Sonata and Tucson, with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder likely to be the base engine.
A global debut that’s “just around the corner,” according to Hyundai, stay tuned as the major car shows go into full swing starting with the L.A. Auto Show to hear more about the redesigned compact sedan.
