Look what we caught here (thanks to S.O.)! This looks like the redesigned 2016 Kia Sportage prototype going shopping. This test-mule is still wearing a lot of camouflage and cladding, but a few details are still visible. The telling grille design points the way to the Kia brand. The overall size, profile, and wheels suggest that it’s the next Sportage. Notice the high positing of the headlights.
The rear-end is pretending to be the hunch-back and the taillights are taped and covered. However, the overall shape of the lights looks similar to those on the new 2016 Kia Sorento.
The interior is carefully covered to protect the updated design from prying eyes. However, a soft-looking center armrest is visible.
The timing of this prototype catch is interesting, because the redesigned 2016 Hyundai Tucson (European version) is being officially revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show this coming week. Check out the Tucson story for more specifications and details.
