It’s all positive sales momentum for compact crossovers in January 2015. The updated 2015 Honda CR-V continues to lead the segment with significant 27.3% growth over January of last year. The 2015 Ford Escape holds on to the second spot, with the 2015 Toyota Rav4 in a close third. The 2015 Chevy Equinox, despite its age, is less than 300 units behind the RAV4. The refreshed 2016 Chevy Equinox will be shown at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, so sales for the forthcoming model should provide more momentum.
The 2015 Nissan Rogue was able to muscle its way back into fifth place and bumped the Jeep Cherokee back down to sixth, although not by much.
We are splitting out the ever-expanding sub-compact crossovers into its own report, and you can find it at TFLcar.com soon.
