Jeep will bring out two special edition models for its “Jeep Beach” festival in April.
Apart from Easter Jeep Safari coming up in a few weeks, the following month sees another exclusive event in the nine-day “Jeep Beach” festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. To celebrate the occasion where more than 2,500 vehicles took part last year, the automaker is bringing out two limited-run models based on the Wrangler Willys 4xe and the Gladiator Willys. This year’s special models give Jeep’s truck the Beach treatment for the first time.
So, what do you get with this limited edition? Both the Wrangler and Gladiator variants bring some special touches over your ordinary Willys. The Gladiator Beach, for its part, still packs the base 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (as there’s no Gladiator 4xe here yet). You also get LED lighting, spray-in bedliner, a Sunrider top, 21-inch tires, rock rails, a locking rear differential and the all-important decal package. Inside, the truck gets Katzkin leather seats embossed with the Jeep Beach logo.
“On the styling and features front, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Beach brings similar touches to the equation. “On the styling and features front, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Beach brings similar touches to the party. The “Earl” paint color is one key difference, while another is a set of 33-inch all-terrain tires, instead of 32s. The Wrangler model is also based on the Willys 4xe plug-in hybrid, backed by a 2.0-liter turbo engine, rather than the V6.
If you’re looking for the most exclusive Beach model this year, you’ll want to go with the Gladiator. Jeep is limiting production on the Gladiator Beach to just 250 units, each with a price tag of $52,930 including the $1,895 destination fee. The Wrangler Beach will see a slightly greater volume, with 500 units available to order. Each of the Wranglers costs $62,290 with destination, while both models are only available to order “in select southeastern states” (basically, in and around Florida).
