This Bronze Package for the Ford Mustang Mach-E will go on sale in the spring.
It’s not like you’re short of choices if you’re in the market for a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Nonetheless, there’s a new option if you’re looking at the range-topping, high-performance GT: the Bronze Appearance Package. Despite being an “appearance” package, though, Ford added a small twist, in that you’ll also be able to spec it with an optional performance upgrade.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still mostly about the looks. As you can see, the automaker isn’t kidding about the bronze part, taking that treatment to the grille, the 20-inch aluminum wheels and even the badging all around the car. Styling is up to the beholder, but I do think it pairs well to Ford’s Eruption Green, so this may not be a bad option if bronze is your jam. If you don’t like green — St. Patrick’s Day is coming up — you can also get the Bronze Appearance Package with Star White Metallic Tri-Coat or Shadow Black.
As for the optional performance boost, Ford didn’t mention any further details beyond saying it will deliver “the quickest 0-60 time of any production Mach-E ever”. Now, the standard Mustang Mach-E is pretty damn quick, clocking a 0-60 acceleration run in about 3.5 seconds (per Ford’s estimates). I suspect an ulterior motive is afoot to make it even quicker than a Tesla Model Y Performance, though, so we’ll have to wait and see just how much extra oomph you’ll get if you check the performance upgrade box.
Order books for the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E will open up later in the winter. The Mach-E GT AWD with the Extended Range battery and Bronze Appearance Package will set you back $60,990 (excluding destination). Again, that total does not include the performance ugprade, though we should hopefully know more about what you get and how much extra it will cost soon.
