The Jeep Wrangler’s front grille is getting a makeover.
According to leaked photos from JL Wrangler Forums, 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has a new front grille that has elements of past Wranglers, but also features a widened seven-slot design.
Jeep experts are saying that the kinked/bent slats resemble the YJ grille while the headlights are recess into the slats look similar to the CJ grille.
Jeep enthusiasts also will notice that the JL grille conforms to other prototypes in that it lacks turn-signal lights, which Jeep has now incorporated into the fenders. The Jeep logo also is no longer on the grille.
Jeep will likely unveil the new 2018 Wrangler later this year, which will show the designed grille and other new features with the 2018 model year.
