FCA held a dealership meeting in Las Vegas on Aug 25, 2015 and the inter-webs have been a buzz about all the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles products that will be coming in the two to three years. This meeting was held behind closed doors and no media presence. All attendees swore secrecy, yet the following details are coming out. None of this information is officially confirmed.

2018 Jeep Wrangler

One of the attendees is reported to say that the next generation of the Wrangler “stays pretty true to its current form”. That is to say that the styling will not be dramatically changed from the current model. However, another source said the Wrangler will be able to reach 30 MPG on the highway. Also, the word is that it be labeled as 2018 model year.

There was no mention of Wrangler-based pickup truck.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer

FCA also showed the upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which is capable of accommodating eight people.

Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

This is what happens when you combine the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with the 707 horsepower Hellcat supercharged V8 engine and an AWD system. The rumor is that the TrackHawk is capable of 3.5 seconds 0-60 MPH acceleration.

Dodge Charger and Barracuda Convertible

Surprises of the meeting were the next generation of the Dodge Charger and the Barracuda Convertible. The next generation of the Charger was reportedly well received by the dealers. And the Barracuda Convertible sounds very interesting. These cars are said to the based on a rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Alfa Romeo Giulia.

[Editor’s note: Wonder if we can expect a Barracuda Convertible Hellcat? ]

Fiat 124 Spider

Fiat showed regular and Abarth version of the upcoming 124 Spider which is being codeveloped with Mazda MX-5. Could the Abarth version be the only way to get an MX-5 with a turbocharged engine?

Alfa Romeo and Maserati

Alfa Romeo and Maserati previewed several models, including the upcoming Maserati Levante crossover and an Alfa Romeo version.

In total, 30 updated or new models are being planned for the upcoming two-three years. This is a strong product offensive from FCA.
