Nissan officially released the teaser photo of what can be expected of the next addition to its performance fleet, and all we can say is wow. This is most likely the Nissan Vision Gran Turismo Concept which will appear in the Gran Turismo racing game, but it hints at what we’ll be seeing from Nissan in the real world. The nameplate associated with the vehicle has not been announced but what can best be described as a futuristic cross breed of a GT-R and perhaps the 370Z, has curves unlike any other Nissan to date.
It features massive custom wheels and air vents and body lines that are equally outrageous. The same story continues in front where long narrow headlights stretch vertically down to the very grimacing front grill. Down low is an air splitter that almost looks like it’s straight from a LeMans race car. The hood has very smooth but deep lines that run down to a wide open grill where the Nissan badge looks nearly out of place on this ultramodern design spectacle.
Now there’s just one question that remains. Will Nissan equip the car with enough performance to match its intense looks? If a next generation GT-R has anything to do with it, we think so, but you’ll have to wait until June 16th when the concept is officially unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
