The 2013 Nissan Sentra has been redesigned and is all new, bigger and more fuel efficient. The 130 horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine makes 128 lbs-feet of torque and its mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). We’re not huge fans of CVTs, but we acknowledge that Nissan makes some of the best in the business.
There is a six-speed manual option, but it’s available only in the very base form. Nissan does not expect to sell many manuals, and we never had the chance to test one. As the 2013 Nissan Sentra makes just 130 hp, we wonder if the manual would be able to eek out a faster 0 to 60 mph time.
In this TFLcar First drive review we check out how the fast the new Sentra will go from 0-60 MPH.
We drive and review in San Francisco and in the wine country North of the city.
Is the newest Nissan Sentra a worthy competitor to cars like the new Ford Focus, the Chevy Cruze, and even the Honda Civic.
