2013 Infiniti FX37 Drive & Review: New 3.7L engine revealed

2013 Infiniti FX37

The 2013 FX37 isn’t all new but the big news is under the hood. Instead of the previous Infiniti’s 303-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 this FX37 now gets a bigger 325-hp, 3.7-liter V-6.

That’s over 20 more ponies to really move what was already a fast car…..even faster.

For 2013 you also get standard bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights and standard 18-inch alloy wheel and even available 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels. All that means is that the Infiniti FX37 is now up to the task of competing with cars like the Acura ZDX, the BMW X6 the new Mercdes-Benz M Class and even the Range Rover Sport.

Think of the 2013 Infiniti FX37 has a powerful, all-wheel drive station wagon more than a crossover and you would be on the right track. At an as tested MSRP of $52,750 the Infiniti FX37 isn’t the most expensive of the sporty crossover bunch…..but it certainly might be the most striking and controversial.

This is a vehicle that you either love or hate at first sight. There are very few people on the fence when it comes to the Infiniti’s almost reptilian hunkered down big-wheeled stance.
