After ten years and 18 different Black Label themes, Moonbeam joins the list for Lincoln’s Aviator.

While Lincoln used to be one of the go-to brands if you wanted a plush luxury sedan, these days it’s all about the SUVs. Case in point is the Aviator, which rejoined the brand’s lineup in 2020 and filled out its line of four varying size offerings (alongside the Corsair, Nautilus and the flagship Navigator). 2025 also marks the 10-year point of ‘Black Label’ models, which add another layer of special themes on top of what are already luxury-minded models. To mark the occasion, Lincoln introduced this new ‘Moonbeam’ theme for the Aviator Black Label Wednesday.

Lincoln says this new “experience” draws inspiration from the wonder of space travel and “the transformative power of exploration”. To that end, what you actually get is a sharp contrast between black trim and white upholstery, with a “light green moonbeam color” accented by dark green piping. I don’t blame you if your eyes are straining to make out the difference in photos, but hopefully the green hues come out more clearly when you can actually get up close.

The part you can make out a little easier is the textured, open pore khaya wood, which is laser-etched to create a pattern reminiscent of the moon’s surface.

In touting its latest SUVs, a major focus for Lincoln has been on the interior materials and the overall ambience, sometimes to a greater extent than the technology or technical specs. So, whether this theme makes sense depends on your own tastes and whether you’re keen on the light-and-dark contrasts that Moonbeam brings to the ownership experience.

Beyond the aesthetic theme, the 2025 Lincoln Aviator Black Label Moonbeam obviously brings the other benefits of Black Label ownership. Those who buy a Black Label get into Lincoln’s rewards program, free pickup and delivery of your vehicle and a loaner whenever you need a service, and four years or 50,000 miles of complimentary maintenance and anytime car washes.

If you’re interested in the 2025 Lincoln Aviator Black Label, orders are open right now. Lincoln didn’t announce exact pricing, but expect it to land in a similar ball park to the $89,075 you had to pay for a 2024 model.
