Roman’s Car That Didn’t Quite Meet Expectations: Honda Clarity Hydrogen FCV
The Honda Clarity FCV has one massive problem, and that is a lack of infrastructure. Beyond hydrogen’s awesome potential as an alternative fuel with no emissions out the back besides water, it’s just not practical at this point in time. If you live in California, you don’t have it quite so bad – there are 32 filling stations in the state.
However, it’s also not the most practical car, nor is it sexy. That’s an issue the Toyota Mirai has as well. They’re designed to look like the future, and in so doing put a great number of people off who expect a car in the present.
