The Jeep Renegade moved to the number one spot for the most sales among subcompact crossovers for November.
The Renegade took the number one spot in monthly sales away from the Chevrolet Trax and also surpassed the Subaru Crosstrek. The Trax was previously in the number one spot followed by the Crosstrek.
Jeep sold 10,067 Renegades for November, and had a 30 percent increase in terms of sales from November 2015 and November 2016, sales figures showed. Year-to-date figures from 2015 and 2016 showed the Renegade had an 81 percent increase in sales.
Subaru sold 8,271 of the Crosstrek and Chevrolet sold 8,207 of the Trax for November, sales figures showed.
Subaru saw an almost 22 percent increase in sales when looking at figures from November 2015 and November 2016, sales figures showed. Chevrolet saw almost a 27 percent increase in the Trax when looking at the same months.
For year-to-date figures, Subaru saw a 5.7 percent increase from 2015 to 2016 for the Crosstrek, while Chevrolet saw a 23.1 percent increase for the Trax.
Although the Honda HR-V was in fourth place for sales for November selling 8,141 vehicles, Honda saw a 132.3 percent increase when looking at figures from November 2015 and November 2016, sales figures showed. When looking at year-to-date figures, the HR-V saw a 96.1 percent increase from 2015 to 2016, sales figures showed.
The Buick Encore rounded out the top five during November, selling 7,162 vehicles. When looking at figures from November 2015 and November 2016, Buick saw a 39.5 percent increase in sales of the Encore. For year-to-date figures, the Encore had a 16 percent increase from 2015 to 2016.
Several vehicles saw decreases in sales when looking at figures from November 2015 and November 2016.
The Fiat 500X saw a 49 percent decrease, the Nissan Juke saw a 36 percent decrease, the MINI Countryman saw a 31.2 percent decrease and the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport saw a 20.3 percent decrease, sales figures showed.
However, when looking at year-to-date figures from 2015 and 2016, the Fiat 500X actually saw a 40 percent increase. The Mazda CX-3, which was seventh on the list in terms of sale for November with 1,355, had an increase of 256.5 percent when looking at figures in 2015 and 2016, sales figures showed.
