Shelby American revealed more details on the 2015 Shelby Super Snake. It will have several power packages. Shelby American worked closely with the Ford Performance division to bring many well-integrated components to the new Super Snake.
The Ford Performance supercharged version will deliver 650+ horsepower with a starting price of $49,999. Customer will also have an option to choose a Whipple or Kenne Bell supercharger packages with over 750 horses. The higher horsepower units will start at $54,999.
The Super Snake also comes with the Ford Performance handling pack, Weld Racing 20-inch wheels, 6-piston Shelby Wilwood front brake package, Ford Performance half shafts, 3.73 gears, Ford Performance short-throw shifter, and the Shelby appearance package as standard.
There are also a host of optional equipment, including a roll cage with five-point harnesses.
Shelby American said that the 2015 Super Snake will be available with an automatic transmission as well.
