Small people-movers like the seven passenger FIAT 500L MPW are not that numerous in the United States. That’s a shame because they represent a frugal alternative to over-sized crossovers and heavy minivans. The only vehicle sold in the United States that can carry more than five, yet possess a small footprint is the Mazda5.
In the USA, the current Mazda5 costs about $25,000 fully loaded.

That’s about the same price as the FIAT 500L MPW. This means that, despite the inflated, tax-heavy UK price for the FIAT 500L MPW, it is a competitive value. If there is positive consumer response, it’s possible that FIAT may look at the North American Market.
If they do, I hope they update some of the exterior styling.
