The Ascent is Subaru’s latest addition to its lineup, but still has that 8.7 inches of ground clearance. It’s a three-row family hauler that starts off at $31,995 excluding destination.
Progress is made by way of a 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine with 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. As with virtually every other Subaru, the Ascent comes mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission.
