Would the 2017 Chevy Cruze hatchback perform better with performance parts?
TFL’s Roman Mica put it to the test when he test drove a regular, stock Cruze hatchback and then one equipped with performance parts at the Spring Mountain Country Club in Las Vegas recently.
First, Roman drove the regular hatchback, which comes equipped with a 1.4 liter turbo engine. As soon as he took off, he noticed that the vehicle didn’t have a lot of power and had some issues driving around the track being that it isn’t a performance vehicle, but rather a daily commuter vehicle.
The performance Cruze hatchback was slightly different than the stock hatchback. The performance version was equipped with aftermarket goodies such as bigger brakes, a better flowing exhaust, stiffer shocks and other features to make it more track worthy.
But was it better? How did it do when Roman took that version of the Cruze for a spin around the track? And, were the added parts worth it? Find out by watching the complete TFL video above.
