The 2015 Ford Focus ST made its debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and it was put to the test by two very different drivers. At the wheel of the real deal was Ben Collins who you may not recognize at all from his stint as The Stig. Yup, that’s the face that was hiding under that white helmet driving all those drool-worthy cars on the Top Gear track.
He took the 2015 Ford Focus ST for a run up the hill at Goodwood while another driver took it for a virtual run on the same track in the game Gran Turismo 6. Ford had things set up so people could play the game and virtually drive the car, but everyone knows that driving in a game isn’t like driving in the real world, or is it?
Watch as the Stig and a gamer battle it out, taking the 2015 Ford Focus ST to the top of the hill to see if real world driving can best video game expertise.
And here’s our real world 0-60 review of the 2013 Ford Focus ST.
