The 2011 Toyota Tundra is a full sized pick-up battling it out in the market place with the best selling Ford F-150, the popular Dodge Ram and all American GM Sierra.
It’s no secret that Toyota has been struggling to break the strangle hold that Ford has on the full-sized pick-up market.
The Ford F-150 is not only the best selling pick-up in America, but in fact the best selling vehicle in the land every month for decades now.
Last month Toyota sold 4307 Tundras while Ford sold 42,399 F-150’s. That’s a whopping 90 percent more F-150s that went out the dealership door than Toyota Tundras.

For 2011 the Tundra remains largely unchanged, but it does offer something that has made Toyota the biggest car company in the world—reliability.
So can reliability convert American pick-up buyers to choose a Tundra over the F-150 and does the Toyota Tundra have what it takes to succeed in the American pick-up wars?
