Photo of the day: the odd couple reunited

About the only thing that these two cars have in common is that they were both built in Europe.

OK, we just thought of another thing…they both represent the best cars that their country built.

Sure the Italian built Ferrari goes faster, stops shorter, and gets more babes than the East German built Trabant, but if you take a look at the Trabant you’ll see that unlike the Ferrari it can go off-road.

In fact this Trabant is a Rally Car.

And it had one more advantage. When racing it must have left a cloud of smoke from its two stroke engine thick enough to thwart any racing in its wake.
