The not so fast and furious cars of the Denver Auto Show

The 2009 Denver Auto Show is now in the history books, but the organizers are generally pleased with the visitor turnout.

While
the organizers of the show did not disclose visitor numbers they did
say that they were happy with the crowds given the rocky economy and
bad weather forecasts during the show.

"We were down a little
bit from last year" said ZJ Czupor a spokesmen for the show. "I think
that everybody came because we had so many new models that everybody
wanted to take a look," he added.

Just about 500 cars of all sizes and stripes were on display at this year's show.

Of the glabal automotive manufactures only Suzuki, Porsche, Land Rover, and Nissan were absent from the show.

Much
of the theme of the 2009 show centered around green cars with both
diesel engine vehicles and hybrids taking to the rotating stages.

In
case your missed the show, take a look at some of the interesting new
2010 models that were on display by clicking on the video below. Some
of the newest models on special rotating display included the all new
Ford Taurus, Honda Insight, Toyota Prius, Lexus 250 Hybrid and the 300
horsepower Hyundai Genesis.
