2025 Cadillac Optiq Pricing Officially Starts at $54,390

Buyers will face two main trims: Luxury and Sport

Pricing tops out at just over $57,000, but the Optiq is eligible for the federal EV tax credit.

Back in late May, we got our first hands-on look at the new 2025 Cadillac Optiq. Riding on GM’s Ultium platform, this small crossover slots in below the Lyriq in the lineup, serving as Cadillac’s entry-level EV. Fortunately, that also makes it the least expensive in the range, with the automaker saying prices would start around $54K at the time. Now, we have official pricing, and the initial claim is pretty much dead on, with the “Luxury I” trim starting at $54,390.

Rather than offering four or five distinct trims, Cadillac splits the walk into two tracks. Here, you can choose a Luxury model or a Sport, and each has two levels of equipment. So, while the Luxury I is the least expensive, you can add more features on with the $56,590 Luxury II.

The Sport offers similar features across its track, with the key difference being the styling cues. The 2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport I starts at $54,990, while the Sport II technically tops out the range at $57,090 including destination.

All models will be eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, bringing the price down to between $47K and $50K.

Each Optiq model also gets a dual-motor setup by default, putting out 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Power makes its way to the electric motors from an 85-kWh battery pack, offering up around 300 miles of range on a charge. While higher-end Ultium vehicles have an 800-volt electrical architecture supporting faster DC charging, though, the Optiq’s 400-volt setup allows it to charge at a slower 150 kW. That said, Cadillac says you can charge up to 79 miles of range in about 10 minutes, in the right conditions.Production for the Optiq is set to kick off this fall, so examples will join the Lyriq in showrooms soon. Beyond that, the brand will round out its electric offerings with the flagship Escalade IQ and the midsize Vistiq, which will slot in above the Lyriq and below the electric Escalade.
