2025 Kia K4 Hatchback Makes Surprise Debut, And It’s Coming to the U.S.

Check out the sharp new Kia K4 hatch!

Here’s what we know about the new 2025 Kia K4 hatchback so far!

Kia has a new K4 hatchback at the New York Auto Show and It’s coming to the U.S. market. The all-new K4 replaces the Forte with much better styling and features. However, the last-generation Forte this car replaces didn’t offer a hatchback like its competitors. K4 already brings fresh new styling, but the hatch version arguably does more with it. Most styling details remain the same, aside from ditching the fastback sedan’s rear end for a floating roof and rear lift gate. Even the taillight is shaped just the same.

Details are slim at the moment, but we can expect the same powertrains as the standard K4. That means a base 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The upgraded 1.6-liter Turbo makes 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. Turbo models also trade out the CVT for an eight-speed automatic.

More details are coming soon

Trim levels will also likely follow the sedan starting at LX, LXS and EX with GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo topping the range. We’ll have to wait for more information from Kia, but safe to say there is some excitement around this new hatch.
