Can you daily drive a 707 horsepower tire-shredder?
TFL’s Roman Mica recounts his experience over the past year and a half with the 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Fitted with an optional eight-speed automatic that catapults this muscle car to 60 in 3.6 seconds, the Hellcat is undeniably fast. A $69,280 price tag also makes the car an appealing track weapon. This track weapon, however, does have its down sides – needing a new set of rear tires every time you put your foot down, for example. Or trying to manage 707 snarling horses on anything other than crisp, dry asphalt. While such tire-shredding power may be appealing at first, what’s the Hellcat like normally? Despite the frustrations, is it a good daily driver? Roman covers some key features to find out – his conclusion may surprise you.
