The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is the most off-road worthy Cherokee that you can buy today. In fact it is trail rated by Jeep and it should be able to take on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. But can it make it up all three stages of TFLcar’s Gold Mine Hill?
We’ve never tested a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk up GMH but thanks to Dan who sent us this video we now know the answer to the question above.
Dan writes:
“The video was the result of me losing a bet against my wife. I was absolutely certain the car couldn’t make it. In case you wish to use the footage in any way, let me know and I can provide download links with the originals.
Other than that, I’ve got one favor to ask. I’ve been trying to locate the Cliffhanger 2.0 but my search has been in vain. Could you be kind enough to provide the GPS coordinates of the location. I’d like to give it a shot in my 2015 4Runner, same as I did on the original Cliffhanger.”
Dan we’ll be happy to share the coordinates of the Cliffhanger 2.0 but there’s a string attached.
We’d love to film you and your Jeep attempting this ultimate test of a Jeep’s off-road worthiness. In fact I’ll bet you that your Jeep won’t be able to make it up all the way to the top of the mountain. There you have it, we’ve thrown down the Cliffhanger gauntlet. Are you willing to pick it up at the cost of some possible trail damage to your Jeep?
Let us know and we’ll bring the TFL long-term test Wrangler Sport and do a side by side comparison of the two Jeeps as they attempt to take on the Cliffhanger 2.0. Thanks for the video and let’s produce a Wrangler vs Cherokee mashup video. That would be great fun!
