In 1963 Chrysler the engineers at Chrysler went complete crazy and decided to design and build a car so futuristic that it sounded like it could should fly.
Meet the 1963 Chrysler Turbine.
Only 50 of these extremely rare cars were built and non were ever sold.
Why?
Because the powerplant in this Chrysler is the same one found in many helicopters…a turbine engine.
Only nine of these Chrysler turbine remain today and they still look and sound as cool as they did 50 years ago when the fine folks at Chrysler went crazy and built a car with an exhaust that could easily melt plastic.
