It used to be that paddle shifters were an exotic technology on F1 Cars or exotic super cars but not anymore.
Today you get paddle shifters on the entry level 2012 Subaru Impreza and the even the new KIA Forte.
But not all paddle shifters are created the same. The Subaru comes with a CVT while the KIA has a standard 6 speed transmission…so how do both of these cars drive and shift with race car inspired transmissions?
