The 2014 Toyota Tundra is a significant update for Toyota’s behemoth pickup truck. Revealed at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, TFLCar got the goods on the 2014 Toyota Tundra during its debut which you can see (here). The video highlights the redesigned interior which; fortunately for those who long for more luxury, is reinvigorated with splashes of (optional) color, new shapes and a more inviting bent.
That new interior is supposed to reflect the revised exterior.
“A new exterior commands respect, and its all-new interior sets a high standard for full-size pickups. Bluetooth® and backup camera are now standard on all grades, and the sleek Platinum and ranch-themed 1794 Edition offer a new level of luxury. Add available tech like a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), and you’ve got a truck that works hard and plays harder.” – Toyota Media
There will be a 270 hp, 4.0-liter V6, a 310 hp, 4.6-liter V8 and a 381 hp, 5.7-liter V8 topping out the range. All of the power-plants are hooked up to a six-speed automatic transmission and all of the variants will have two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options. Regular cabs, double cabs and a full four-door CrewMax will be available too.

According to Toyota, the beefiest Tundra is “A force to be reckoned with: Tundra’s 5.7L V8 hauls more than 2000 lbs. and tows over 10,000 lbs, and with the roomy CrewMax, you’ll leave no one behind.”
