The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Is Now Far More Affordable

The $38,490 starting price is a whopping $3,500 lower than before

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets some quality-of-life changes including a standard heat pump and BlueCruise 1.5.

Like a certain other electric car maker, it’s been tough to pin down Ford’s Mustang Mach-E on pricing thanks to several shifts since it first launched in 2021. Fortunately, things are trending in the more affordable direction over the past year or so, and that continues with the 2025 model Mach-E lineup. Not only is the base price lower than before, but you’ll save a few grand no matter which trim you buy.

If you’re looking to get in on the ground floor, the base 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E now starts off at $38,490 including destination. That’s $3,500 lower than its most recent starting MSRP, and markedly lower than the model’s initial $42,895 price tag when it went on sale four years ago.

Stepping up a rung on the trim ladder, the Premium now starts at $41,990 (or $4,000 lower) for the 2025 model year. At the upper echelon, the performance-minded GT AWD Extended Range comes in at $54,490, while the relatively new Rally model tops out the price band at $57,990. Both models are several thousand dollars cheaper, and only come in dual-motor layout with an extended range battery pack.

What all is new for this year?

While the same trims remain from 2024, Ford is adding some new stuff into the 2025 mix. You get a standard heat pump, for a start, which ought to help out owners in colder climates. Beyond that, Mach-Es also get BlueCruise 1.5 for the new year, which adds automated lane changing into the driver assistance suite’s list of features. Each 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E also ditches the, let’s say “controversial”, rotary shifter dial for a column-mounted unit.

A new Sport Appearance Package joins the 2025 Mach-E lineup, which you can see above. That adds in a GT-style grille shield as well as a sportier looking front fascia, red Brembo brake calipers and 19-inch gloss black wheels. So, you can get this package to make your Mach-E Premium look like a GT without actually having to buy the GT.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E models will hit dealers early next year.
