Honda is already launching 2025 Pilot models, with a few trim changes.

Since we’re just coming off a major redesign, the new 2025 Pilots hitting dealerships starting today doesn’t bring earth-shattering changes to the table. We do get a few tweaks to the lineup worth mentioning, however, including a new range-topping Black Edition with a “more aggressive look and upscale cabin”. Like past examples of Honda’s Black Edition, this version of the Pilot sits above the Elite model, with a starting price tag of $55,675 including Honda’s $1,395 destination fee.

In total, the 2025 Honda Pilot lineup comprises six models, ranging from the $41,295 front-wheel drive Sport to the all-wheel drive-only Black Edition. The EX-L, Touring and TrailSport model remains, while the previous base LX is now gone. With that omission, the Pilot’s entry-level price effectively increases by $2,810.

The 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition brings in all the features you’d get with the Elite, plus gloss black trim elements including the grille bar, mirror caps, front fascia ducts and window trim, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The high-end model is the only one with red-accented perforated leather seats and red contrast stitching throughout the cabin, while the Black Edition logo is embossed on the front headrests and the floor mats.

Across the range, 2025 Honda Pilot MSRPs increase by $300 for the Sport, Touring, TrailSport and Elite, while the EX-L goes up by $800 (for a starting MSRP of $44,595 for the front-wheel drive model). Adding Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel drive system ups the price by another $2,000 on the trims below the TrailSport, where you actually have the option.

On the options front, you can customize your Pilot a bit further by adding the $2,000 HPD Package. That adds black- or bronze-colored HPD-specific wheels, center caps, lower-door trim and special graphics, and is available on all Pilot trims, including the TrailSport and Black Edition.

Same as before, all Pilot models are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine putting out 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Standard features across the range include the Honda Sensing suite with automatic emergency braking, road departure mitigation, forward collision warning, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
