2019 Audi Q3 Goes On Sale Later In 2019 From $35,695

That's about $1,800 more than the old one

The new Audi Q3 debuted last summer, but won’t arrive in the U.S. until later this year.

It’s been awhile now that we’ve been waiting for the 2019 Audi Q3. Now, Audi has announced pricing for the second generation model. At $35,695 including a $995 destination fee, it is $1,800 more expensive than the outgoing version. However, even on appearance alone, it’s leaps and bounds ahead of the original Q3.

At launch, the 2019 Audi Q3 will be available in two trims. From the standard Q3 Quattro, buyers can also pick the S Line Quattro. Stepping up to the S Line nets new front and rear bumpers, side sills and badging. It also adds 19-inch wheels — 18-inch wheels are standard — or larger 20-inch wheels with summer tires are optional.

Interior

While the outside is noticeably sharper than the outgoing model, the interior is a huge step over the preceding Q3. Here, there is a standard 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a standard 8.8-inch infotainment display. However, the larger 12.3 inch virtual cockpit and 10.1 inch infotainment units are optional.

Not only has the interior been refreshed, but it’s also larger than the 2018 model. The 2019 Audi Q3 sits 1.5 inches taller, 3.8 inches longer and almost an inch wider, which offers more usable space. The rear seat offers 40/20/40 split-folding capability.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the 2019 Audi Q3 gets a power bump compared to its predecessor. Now, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. That power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to the boost, Audi claims a 0-60 time of 7.0 seconds, which is on par with the competition.

Neither Audi nor the EPA have published fuel economy figures on the 2019 Audi Q3 just yet. However, we should know that closer to the on-sale date. Even though it is technically a 2019 model, Audi says it won’t make it to dealers until the third quarter of this year.

The 2019 Audi Q3 is on display now at the New York Auto Show. Check out our video above, and come back to TFLcar.com for more from this year’s event!
