The Jeep Renegade still reigned as the subcompact crossover sales king in June, despite seeing a reduction in the number of sales over last month.
Sales in June came to 9,688, which was a 10.9 percent decrease from May. However, in the subcompact crossover market, the Renegade stayed at the head of the pack with 2,000 more in sales over the second-highest seller, the Subaru Crosstrek, which had 7,658 in June.

The Renegade is relatively new to the market, having been introduced in 2015. Since then, the Jeep has seen a whopping 99-percent increase in sales, statistics from June 2015 through June 2016 showed.
Sales of the other subcompact crossovers remained steady with all staying the same in popularity from May into June, despite six of the 10 having seen a decrease in sales in June.
