The 573 horsepower 2017 Acura NSX is a hybrid AWD supercar that will rocket from 0-60 mph. But you probably already knew that.
So just how fast is the newest Acura from naught to sixty?
In this new TFLcar video, watch the 2017 Acura NSX blast from 0-60 mph with and without launch control. But there’s a catch.
Acura invited me to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut to test drive and review their new hybrid sports car. With input from an Acura engineer, I also had the opportunity to learn about the supercar’s launch control system and how it interplays with the all-wheel drive system. Unfortunately, I didn’t have TFLcar’s performance meters along for the trip. Instead, I used several video cameras to record how fast and how easily the car launches both with and without launch control.
In the video below you can time the launch yourself and see just how fast the 2017 Acura NSX accelerates from 0-60 mph using just the right foot and using Acura’s new launch control system.
Please keep in mind that this hybrid supercar powers all four wheel via both a traditional 3.5L twin turbo engine and three electric motors. We will of course test the car with our own test equipment if and when we have a chance to drive it in Colorado but for now let us know in the comments below just how fast you think the 2017 Acura NSX rockets from 0-60 mph.
