2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition to Debut in Chicago [Gallery]

The 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition is set to debut alongside the 2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.  Based on the SE trim level, the Camry Special Edition will take the car’s styling, which was tweaked for the current model year, to an edgier and sportier level.  Based on the S trim level, the Corolla Special Edition will give the best-selling compact sedan a measure of exclusivity.

The 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition will be available in August, with a limited production of 12,000 vehicles.  On the outside, the Camry will feature 18-inch wheels, power moonroof, dark-finished highlights, smoked taillights and a choice of Blizzard Pearl or Blue Streak Metallic paint colors.  On the inside, the Camry will showcase sport seats with contrast blue trim and center sections, a blue-tinged instrument display, special floor mats, and other premium options such as Entune Audio Plus as standard.

The 2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition will elevate its driving experience with mechanical enhancements such as rear disc brakes, steering wheel paddle shifters, and a sport driving mode.  On the outside, the Corolla will feature gloss-black 17-inch wheels and color choices including Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White.  The Corolla’s cabin includes black seating with red contrasting trim, red accented dash and door trim, and a SmartKey system with push-button start.
