The 2015 Dodge Challenger and 2015 Dodge Charger made their debuts at the New York Auto Show bringing refreshed muscle to the city.
There’s an all-new interior on the 2015 Dodge Challenger with 1971-inspired high-sill center console and driver-focused instrument panel, aluminum bezels and 14 interior color and trim options, including throwback Houndstooth premium cloth, Radar Red, or Pearl and Alcantara suede and leather high-performance seats.
It also boasts a segment-first eight-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode and paddle-shifting for enhanced performance and improved fuel economy. There’s a new class-exclusive 8.4-inch touchscreen media center with Uconnect, new class-exclusive 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) customizable cluster display, electronic shifter and keyless entry with push-button start across all models.
Under the hood there’s a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 putting out 305 horsepower, a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with up to 375 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. torque available in a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, and lastly a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 with an estimated 485 horsepower with 475 lb.-ft. torque also available as a six-speed manul or eight-speed automatic.
The 2015 Dodge Charger gets a complete makeover on the outside with a new hood, fenders, front and rear fascias, and Dodge’s racetrack tail lamps. Interior changes include a new 7-inch thin-film transistor customizable digital gauge cluster, new instrument panel center stack with next-generation radio and 5.0-inch and 8.4-inch touchscreen displays with 3-D navigation and downloadable apps, and a new three-spoke thick rim steering wheel with available paddle shifters.
Engine choices include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with 292 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque with the SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group giving up to 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque via a cold-air induction system, sport-tuned exhaust and engine calibration. There also a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 370 horsepower and 395 lb.-ft. of torque.
