It’s Saturday and that means more than a few of you are about to head on down to your local car dealership to buy a shiny new automobile. Southside Mitsubishi in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada wants to make sure it’s their dealership that you walk into today with this absolutely ridiculous rap ad.
You want to point and laugh and say, “What were they thinking?!” and then you suddenly realize that you just sat there and watched the whole darn thing and you can’t stop laughing. It’s horrible. It’s wonderful. It’s the most white-guys-can’t-dance thing you will see all of this year. Possibly this decade.
Lest you think this is some rinky-dink little dealership, it’s actually quite a big one. According to their handy YouTube bio, they were the #1 volume Mitsubishi dealership in Canada in 2012 and Canada is a really big place so that has to count for something. They even have a motto, “Friendly People, Great Service.” I think they ought to add “And Salespeople Who Aren’t Afraid To Have a Little Fun.”
Please, if one of you lives anywhere near this Canadian dealership, go down there right now, find this salesman, take your picture with him and send it to me because I think he is officially my favorite car salesman on the planet for making this video. I suddenly find myself wanting to drive to Canada to buy a Mitsubishi.
Check out our video of the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in which, thankfully, neither Nathan nor Roman starts singing…
